NOMINATION DEADLINES

?    First Semester: 1st June 2021/Second Semester: 1st June 2021

On the 8th June 2021 we will directly contact nominated students for first semester or full year via email in order to send their log in details to our platform for incoming students (EMI).

Second semester students will be informed on the 8th November 2021.

Attention: Students are obliged to select at least half of their courses at UMA in their main field of study/faculty. Please, be aware of the faculty where your students will select most of their courses in order to nominate them in the correct main centre (considering their field of study).

Postgraduate Studies (Master and PhD) at UMA will only be possible for incoming students if this level is included in the ii-Agreement. If that would be the case, only master courses in the main faculty would be permitted.

COVID19 VACCINATION

With the intention of ensuring the security and health of all our students, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences have decided to require the vaccination of all incoming students that would like to enrol in any course of these faculties. Therefore, these students must be vaccinated in their home countries before starting their period of study at UMA.

Level of Spanish:

Spanish is the language of instruction at Universidad de Málaga. There are some courses offered in English, but we cannot guarantee the availability of these courses due to the high demand and the limit of students per course. We do not require any certification or a determinate level, although students are expected to follow lectures in Spanish. A B1 Spanish level is recommended.

Type of Teaching

At present, we cannot confirm any type of teaching for the next academic year. Nevertheless, as soon as the decision has been taken by the competent bodies we will inform your nominated students.
