MISSION

The mission of SMCDC is to ensure and streamline the teaching process and ensure quality educational services offered to the Academy's beneficiaries with the implementation of high-performance academic management based on quality reference standards, having responsibilities regarding the development of procedures and quality assessment and assurance tools, the organization of audit processes and quality assessment, the management of quality data, the dissemination of information and the creation of a quality culture in the academy.

OBJECTIVES

In accordance with its assumed mission, SMCDC acts to achieve the following objectives::

  • implementing the AMTAP strategy regarding quality assurance;
  • formation and development of a quality culture at the level of all organizational subdivisions of AMTAP, with the involvement of the entire academic and administrative community;
  • development and application of quality assurance mechanisms;
  • planning and systematic implementation of internal evaluation of education quality according to educational standards developed by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research (ANACEC);
  • organizing information sessions in the field of quality management with the aim of improving the specific performances of faculties and study programs;
  • monitoring the activity of the Quality Assurance Committees and Teams within the faculties/departments/chairs;
  • monitoring the process of updating and continuous improvement of study programs and disciplinary curricula;
  • optimizing collaboration with academy employees, students and AMTAP partners, regarding increasing the institution's capacity and availability to meet their requirements and expectations;
  • continuous improvement of the quality of internships.

POWERS

To achieve its mission and objectives, SMCDC has the following responsibilities:

  • elaboration of documentation specific to the Quality Management System (QMS) of the Academy;
  • implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System in all academic and administrative structures of the Academy;
  • collaboration with all academic and administrative structures of the Academy to achieve continuous improvement of the QMS;
  • providing consultancy in the field of quality assurance;
  • elaboration, implementation, and analysis of the results of surveys regarding the level of satisfaction among interested parties (students, teaching staff, employees, representatives of the labor market) and proposing the necessary corrective measures;
  • elaboration and presentation of periodic reports on academic quality assurance, informing about major problems and possible solutions;
  • monitoring the development of study plans and qualifications;
  • quality control of internship training; creating and managing the Academy’s SMCDC website page.
