The part-time studies and continuing education section is a subdivision of the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts that organizes::
- the study process at the first cycle (baccalaureate) level, specialties 221.1 Culturology (bachelor’s degree in humanities), 141.11 Music (bachelor’s degree in education sciences), and 141.16 Dance (bachelor’s degree in education sciences) in accordance with the current legislation;
- the instructional activity of continuing professional development for staff employed in the field of culture and arts, artistic education institutions of all types (creation centers, music schools, high schools, art colleges, etc.).
Responsibilities of the Section for Studies with Reduced Frequency and Continuing Education
- training specialists in the field of musical pedagogy and performing arts (culturology, choreography) within the first-cycle bachelor study process in line with the needs of national culture, European integration, and global development;
- leveraging the didactic and academic scientific potential in continuing education activities, improving and retraining teaching staff;
- integrating continuing education into a single educational system;
- expanding and deepening knowledge, broadening personal competencies, and developing professional skills of specialists in the field of culture, arts, and artistic education;
- creating favorable conditions for the intellectual and creative development of professionals in the field;
- developing continuing education programs aligned with European values and priorities for lifelong learning, while respecting the national educational system and labor market needs;
- continuous evaluation of competencies acquired through various continuing education programs and activities, with certification through respective study documents recognized at national and international levels by implementing a system of professional credits;
- professionalizing the teaching career of AMTAP collaborators through national and international cooperation with similar institutions and organizations.
