The Ethics Commission is an independent structure of the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts and operates based on the provisions of the Education Code, the University Charter of AMTAP, the Ethics Code of AMTAP.
The Ethics Commission consists of 5 members, teaching staff who are not included in management structures. All members of the Ethics Commission have the right to vote when making decisions, except for members who abstained or were recused due to conflict of interest.
The Ethics Committee is subordinate to the Senate. The structure and composition of the Ethics Commission are proposed and approved by the Senate and approved by order of the rector.
The Ethics Commission has the following attributions:
Organizes, coordinates and controls the application of the rules provided in the Code of Ethics of AMTAP;
Receives, evaluates and resolves complaints and complaints regarding deviations from university ethics. For this purpose, it organizes investigations and interviews in order to collect data regarding the cases that are the subject of notifications and complaints, communicating the case report and possible recommendations to the AMTAP administration and, as the case may be, the Senate;
It prepares an annual report on the situation of compliance with university ethics and the ethics of research activities, which is submitted to the rector and the Senate.
