Dear colleagues and theatre friends,
On behalf of the Theatre Faculty of the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno, Czech Republic, we would like to inform you about the open call for the 31st edition of The International Festival of Theatre Schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER, which will take place in Brno from the 21st of March to the 27th of March 2021.
SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER is an international festival for theatre students and professionals with 30 years of tradition. The uniqueness of the festival lays in the fact that it is mainly organised by the students of the Theatre Faculty at JAMU in Brno. The initial idea of the festival arose from the need of the founders of SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER to meet other professionals and theatre school´s students. The festival is becoming more and more prestigious every year due to the participation of ensembles from theatre schools all over the world.
